THE SWEEP 
(Computer Art Lesson Using Paint That Comes with Windows)

Using the Paint program, get some color on the screen.  I suggest using the Spray Can to spray different colors in a section.  Then, use the Select tool to draw a dotted box around the area that you like.  Then, while holding the Shift key down, click inside the dotted rectangle and drag around the screen.  This can be copied and pasted to be used as background in other programs.
